How should a business trip be properly documented?
The travel order is a document confirming the business trip. On its basis, the employer analyzes the costs of the business trip.
The business trip order must include:
- Details of the employee on a business trip;
- Destination place;
- The place where the trip begins and ends;
- Date of departure;
- Duration of the trip;
- Specification of means of transportation;
- Amount of advance payment received by the employee for travel expenses;
- Date of settlement;
- Signature of the workplace manager or authorized person.
A travel order issued by the employer means that the employee is obliged to go on a business trip at the time and place indicated by the employer. Refusal to go on a business trip may result in disciplinary action against the employee.
